Along with elegant packaging, each Rebus Gift Box contains a guide detailing the history and meaning of the signet ring, along with precious metal and shape options available to the recipient. A placeholder ring, cast in bronze, excites the receiver, offering the sensation of the final piece. A ring sizer, ensuring a comfort fit, is also included. Following up on each gift box, a design consultation is scheduled, either at the company’s Hatton Garden showroom, during an upcoming international trunk show, or virtually.
With an archive of symbols, and years of experience developing bespoke creations, Rebus works with recipients one-on-one to conceptualize, sketch, and create each one-of-a-kind ring. Ranging from silver to 9ct.-18K gold, signet rings design concepts are hand drawn, then meticulously hand-engraved by artisans in-house. Traditionally carved in reverse, the signet ring is used as a sophisticated wax seal, an elegant touch on any letter.
