Watch Retailer Bucherer Sells Rahaminov Diamonds

Bucherer, the Swiss watch retailer, is to sell Rahaminov diamonds online and in its US stores.

The move comes after Rolex acquired the Lucerne-based family business, with its 100 outlets, from 87-year-old chairman Jorg G. Bucherer in September.

Rahaminov, known for diamond cutting, sales and trading was founded in Italy in the 1940s by the Rahaminov brothers, who were diamond cutters in Israel’s Buchara Diamonds cooperative.

“We are truly excited to bring our one-of-a-kind jewels to New York, especially with such an iconic brand,” said Amir Goldfiner, said Amir Goldfiner president.

“Bucherer is the perfect partner and place to showcase some of our true standouts. We have selected never-before-seen pieces, including a blue diamond toi et moi ring, that will really wow [its] customers, along with other exquisite pieces.”

The partnership was launched at Bucherer’s New York flagship, the TimeMachine store.
