VICENZAORO WILL BE BACK IN SPRING

As announced, the current pandemic indicators
would not have allowed a full show to take place in January.

New dates have already been set, from 17th to 21st March 2022, again in conjunction with T.Gold.

Vicenza, 25th January 2022 – On 30th December last, IEG – Italian Exhibition Group announced that, due to a worsening of the Covid infection situation throughout Europe, Vicenzaoro would be postponed to 17th – 21st March 2022. T.Gold was also rescheduled for the same dates.

This decision was shared with all the relevant national trade associations (Federorafi, Confartigianato, CNA, AFEMO, Assocoral, Federpreziosi), Cibjo and community representatives.

Counting on a progressive increase in vaccination coverage throughout the EU and the application of ad hoc measures for managing the peak in all countries, as of mid-March, Vicenza will once again be able to reopen its halls in total safety in accordance with the protocols (SAFE Business by IEG and GBAC Star) that were applied and successfully tested at the September 2020 and 2021 editions, as well as at all the events held at IEG’s various exhibition sites.

IEG, which will be sharing operational details and answering the most frequent questions from visitors and exhibitors in the next few days, is currently defining an agreement with the Vicenza tourism promotion agency (Vicenzaè) and other hoteliers throughout the province that will guarantee the chance to move bookings already made for January to the new dates in March without incurring any penalty whatsoever for Vicenzaoro exhibitors and visitors.

The most eagerly awaited event in Europe that unites the entire gold and jewellery sector in a single business and culture platform will therefore be back in Vicenza in March. The best of Made in Italy production from the main manufacturing districts and top international companies will be presenting their latest products and collection previews as well as launching jewellery trends.

T.Gold, the international exhibition of the most innovative machinery and technologies applied to jewellery and precious metals, organised in partnership with A.F.E.M.O., will be held at the same time. This event, the pride of IEG’s technology line, will showcase the sector’s “hardware” with innovations that concern the entire production process.

The appointment with VO Vintage, however, the event open to vintage watch and jewellery collectors and enthusiasts, will shift directly to September. The area will, instead, host the launching of a brand-new project to present the most important new ideas in the contemporary watchmaking sector. Due to the need to move Vicenzaoro to March, the new dates of the event have proved perfect for hosting all the very latest products from the watchmaking brands.

In agreement with IEG, the Municipality of Vicenza has also decided to reposition VIOFF, the Vicenzaoro Off Show, to the tradeshow’s new dates: once again, the event, now at its seventh edition, will project the magic of the exhibition into the heart of the splendid Venetian city with business, culture, music and pleasurable Italian cuisine.

Over the next few months, in addition to Vicenzaoro, TGold and VO Vintage, IEG’s “Jewellery Agenda” foresees further important events for the entire global jewellery Community.

February (22nd – 24th) will see the staging of “Jewellery, Gem and Technology Dubai”, a brand-new event in the United Arab Emirates, organised with Informa Markets and the first international B2B show to reopen in 2022. In May (7th – 10th), the district of Arezzo will once again shine with Oroarezzo, the tradeshow dedicated to the “Art of Manufacturing” where the very best of Made in Italy gold production will meet top buyers from the world’s most important markets, from Asia to North America.
