Tiffany & Co is launching its first-ever range of engagement rings for men.
It says that after introducing the diamond engagement to the world (for women) back in 1886, it’s “marking a bold new era of love” with its Charles Tiffany Setting.
That’s widely understood to refer to the rise in same-sex marriages.
Six styles are currently on its website, made of platinum or titanium, set with round brilliant or emerald solitaire diamonds, sized between 1.0 carats and 4.3 carats. No prices or further details are given.
The New York-based jeweler, recently acquired by LVMH, says men’s engagement rings will be available from this month at its flagship stores.
Tiffany engagement rings for women currently account for over a quarter of the company’s total revenue, according to the Wall Street Journal.
