[huge_it_gallery id=”1″][huge_it_gallery id=”1″]For when you just can’t pick a favorite stone cut
Most customers pay a lot of attention to the cut of a stone when shopping for an engagement ring—and understandably so. But I find that when it comes to “fashion” jewelry, it’s much more the overall look that fascinates someone as opposed to prioritizing any one particular gemstone cut. And I’m not saying that it isn’t important: Certainly there are ongoing trends that have shoppers hunting for one particular cut or another at times (the excellent look of the baguette layout, for example). But brides-to-be are often married to a particular stone before they marry their spouse (it must be a cushion cut!), and you don’t always see that kind of passion with your nonengagement styles. So here’s a fun display idea: If not any one cut of colored gemstone or diamond, why not group designs that feature all of them? It’s like the super sampler, if you will, where you get a little taste of everything there is to offer. You have to hand it to these jewelers, where, in the styles below, they have expertly corraled a series of varying stone cuts into magnificent creations that look as if they belong together. While you enjoy the look of these, a query: Do you have a particular gemstone cut that sells better than others when it comes to non-bridal jewelry? I’d love to know.
