Surat Diamond Association (SDA) is all set to organise the second Carats Surat Diamond Expo in the city. Carats, is essentially a B2B exhibition that is opening up new roads for the diamond merchants to connect and network, with the big sellers. The jewellers and the manufacturers are always on a lookout for reasonable rates for the precious gems. The exhibition aims to connect them to new suppliers, bringing in the picture buyers and sellers from all over the country as well as pull crowd from overseas. A showcase of loose diamonds, the expo intends to bring into the spotlight gems like rose cut, polki, natural fancy coloured and more.
Happening on the 3rd of August to 5th of August, 2OL9 at Avadh Utopia, this expo is on its way to being the highlight of the year. With just 3 months to go to the\exhibition, the preparations have begun in full swing. The stall allotment for this stellar show is being carried out through a lucky draw. To ensure optimum security for the show, CCTV cameras will be installed along with adequate security personnel around the area.
The second expo is taking place in light of the success of the show in 2018. Carats Surat Diamond Expo 2018 was a grand success that witnessed a large footfall. Owing to the participation of acclaimed companies and the. the commendable response it earned, the expo garnered recognition on an international level. The idea initially started off to highlight Surat and; reiterate its status as the hub for diamond merchants in the international market. The expo attracted a lot of international visitors, retailers, and wholesalers, distributors, importers, and exporters.
Talking about future plans, SDA is keen on drawing in more buyers for the expo. They have pipelined plans to conduct roadshows in cities like Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Jaipur, and other international cities are already falling in place.
With the days drawing in closer, the show promises to be nothing but a major success.
