Rita Ora personally popped into John Stewart Jewellers in Glasgow to collect a massive gold haul.
Shop floor staff couldn’t believe their eyes when the popstar walked through the doors, with her assistant, before performing at the 02 Academy on Eglinton Street.
According to reports from the Evening Standard, Rita Ora bought “several items” during a 40-minute shopping spree in the jewellers based on Argyll Street.
A staff member told the newspaper: “She had a laugh with us about the size of our chains. We’ve got quite a big shop and a lot of unusual items, including one-offs and antiques.”
The 27-year-old singer songwriter allowed staff to take a picture with her.
The jeweller posted on Facebook: “It was great to welcome Rita Ora to our Argyle Street branch today. We look forward to her next visit. Rita knows that John Stewart Jewellers is the only place for gold in Scotland.”
The star then posted pictures in pieces from John Stewart Jewellers on Instagram, with likes to date surpassing 335K.
