A new high jewelry fair, billed as a first for collectors and enthusiasts, is to take place at an exclusive venue near the Eiffel Tower, in Paris.
ArtVendome borrows its name from the iconic Place Vendome, home to Cartier, Boucheron, Van Cleef & Arpels and Chaumet and many other maisons.
Richard Steeve Giraud, founder and CEO of ArtVendome, real estate investor and avid art collector, said: “This inaugural edition will bring to the public an immersive experience which fosters deep emotional connections between the wearer, the observer and the power of jewellery itself.
“The world of jewellery is extraordinary, and my desire was to create a fair offering an unparalleled opportunity for all participants to be part of this transformative movement.”
The four-day event will be held from 31 January at the Grand Palais Ephemere, the temporary venue that is hosting exhibitions while the Grand Palais des Champs-Élysées is renovated for the 2024 Summer Olympics. Future editions will be held at the Grand Palais itself.
An initial list of exhibitors will be announced later this month and tickets will be released in the autumn.
