Mountain Province Diamonds Inc. announced that Stuart Brown, who assumed responsibility in his position as the Company’s new permanent President and CEO on July 1, 2018, has also been appointed as a member of the Company’s board of directors effective from the same date.
Commenting on his association with the company, Brown said, “I am delighted to have joined Mountain Province and look forward to working with the board and the senior management team as we explore opportunities to build on the solid base we have achieved so far. There are a number of value adding workstreams that still need to be executed. I look forward to updating the market with this information when appropriate.”
Mountain Province Diamonds is a 49% participant with De Beers Canada in the Gahcho Kué diamond mine located in Canada’s Northwest Territories. It recently also acquired 100% shares of Kennady Diamonds and is also now managing the Kennady North diamond project which lies adjacent to Gahcho Kué
