As the nation’s eyes are on Gareth Southgate to bring football home, fans are also taking note of his style, as well as his managerial skills.
The England manager’s sideline style hit headlines earlier this month when Marks & Spencer revealed Southgate has sparked a rise in waistcoat sales.
Now, British jewellery brand Monica Vinader has also reported a victory with Southgate’s endorsement of one of its iconic Linear Friendship bracelet.
The England manager has been seen wearing the bracelet in silver with a denim blue cord at every game so far. This version of the Linear Friendship bracelet signifies courage, with the brand dubbing it as the England team’s lucky charm.
Since Southgate was first spotted wearing his Linear Friendship bracelet, Monica Vinader has seen sales of the collection soar, with a 300% rise in sales vs last year.
To capitalise on the ‘it’s coming home’ momentum and to celebrate England’s success so far, Monica Vinader launched a competition to give football fans a chance to win England’s lucky charm by sharing online what their very personal lucky charm is.
On Monday, the British brand gave away 100 Linear Friendship bracelets on its social channels, and had over 2,000 entries.
If England win tonight, the brand will do the same competition on Thursday.
