Gem cutting factory and Gem Market
The world of gemstones is mesmerising. Those who are fascinated by gems know the true pleasure of visiting a gem market. Thus, JK Diamonds Institute took an initiative to take students of Gemology to a gem market where they come across different stones- precious and semi-precious. Students had the opportunity to practically learn the art of cutting gemstones. Theoretical knowledge is important but hands-on experiences cannot be shared through books and traditional learning.
Machinery and allied exhibition
The art of making jewellery has evolved exponentially over the years. From making jewellery manually, the industry progressed by including different types of machinery. The introduction of machines was to ensure precision and efficiency in production. Today, jewellery is also produced using 3D Printing technology. Students of JK were thrilled to be a part of the visit to Machinery and allied exhibition at Nesco Goregaon.
