The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) has announced that it will be holding the seventh edition of the India International Jewellery Week (IIJW) from July 24 to July 27, 2017.

The GJEPC has decided to implement a change in format of IIJW; this year, it will be a B2B show rather than a B2C event. This edition of the IIJW, as in previous years, has been timed to be held just prior to IIJS, India’s premier gems and jewellery exhibition.

“IIJW was conceived and conceptualised in 2010 by GJEPC in its endeavour to create a ‘one of its kind’ platform to showcase India’s craftsmanship and innovative jewellery pieces to the world,” the GJEPC stated. “IIJW by way of its unique structured model exhibits exquisite jewellery of participants at the show frequented not only by HNIs and celebrities but also by decision makers of various associations and other industry bodies.”

The organisation added: “Over the years, IIJW has gained its repute as the only show in the world of this stature to exhibit trend setting jewellery for the upcoming season. IIJW does not only promote established designers/retail houses but also gives a platform to budding designers, to showcase their unique ideas in jewellery designing.”
