Harrods has promoted its current beauty director Annalise Fard to take control of the store’s Fine Watches and Jewellery departments.
She will assume the responsibilities for fine watches and jewellery previously undertaken by Helen David, Harrods chief merchant, who left the business in June.
“I am delighted to be returning to the world of fine watches and jewellery at Harrods,” said Ms Fard.
“This is a hugely exciting time for these divisions at Harrods, following the recent re-launch of the Fine Watches and Fine Jewellery departments and the upcoming expansion of the Beauty division next year. I am looking forward to working with my teams to reinforce Harrods position as the worlds’ foremost luxury retailer,” she adds.
Beth Hannaway, DMM fine jewellery and fine watches will report to Ms Fard.
Ms Fard began her Harrods career in 1997, as a buyer for furniture, before leaving for a period to join American Spa brand Bliss. Following her return to Harrods in 2007, she has led the transformation of the Beauty and Home divisions at Harrods as home and beauty director.
