Goldsmiths and Gemfields Unveil Spring-Inspired Emerald Capsule Collection

Goldsmiths has teamed up with Gemfields to launch a stunning new three-piece capsule collection celebrating the vibrant energy of spring. Designed to evoke the season’s first green shoots, the collection features ethically sourced Zambian emeralds set in 18ct yellow gold.

This limited-edition suite includes a ring, earrings, and a necklace—each showcasing Gemfields’ responsibly mined emeralds from the Kagem mine, the world’s largest producer of emeralds. The vivid green stones are enhanced with emerald-cut diamonds and elegantly framed in rubover settings, creating a soft halo-like effect.

“The partnership with Gemfields reflects our shared commitment to sustainability and traceable sourcing,” said Kesah Trowell, head of sustainability for Watches of Switzerland Group, Goldsmiths’ parent company. “This enchanting collection embodies the idea of ‘feel-good’ luxury—beautiful pieces our clients can wear with pride, knowing they’re supporting ethical practices.”

Gemfields, known for its forward-thinking approach to responsible mining, actively supports health, education, and community projects near its African operations. Each gemstone in the collection carries a legacy over 500 million years old, adding a layer of natural wonder to every design.

“The deep green of Zambian emeralds symbolizes peace, renewal, and the beauty of nature,” said Emily Dungey, Gemfields’ marketing and communications director. “We’re proud to see them take centre stage in this elegant collaboration with Goldsmiths.”

The emerald capsule collection is now available exclusively at Goldsmiths boutiques and online.
