The GJEPC has successfully forged a partnership with the Export Credit Guarantee Corporation (ECGC) by onboarding it to MyKYC Bank, a cloud- based KYC sharing platform established by GJEPC for the gem & jewellery industry. This collaboration is seen as a crucial step in the journey of integrating banks and financial institutions onto the MyKYC Bank platform.
The official signing of the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) took place on 24th August at ECGC’s headquarters in Andheri, Mumbai, where Sandeep Sharma, CFO, GJEPC, signed the agreement alongside Anand Singh, General Manager of ECGC’s Export Credit Insurance for Banks (ECIB) division.
Among other key figures present at the signing ceremony were Rajesh Joshi, AGM, and Mohit Diwakar, Executive Officer of the Legal department from ECGC. Representing GJEPC were Linette Desa from Rubix, Abhijit Padhye, Head of Technical Support for MyKYC, Sunny Makwana from the GJEPC legal department, and Sudhir Patil, Manager, GJEPC.
ECGC has assured that it will communicate with the head offices of various banks, encouraging them to leverage this platform for enhanced efficiency. Moreover, ECGC has promised to maintain a transparent line of communication with the Council during the email correspondence with these institutions.
With the combined efforts of GJEPC and ECGC, this collaboration is poised to usher in a new era of seamless operations and increased cooperation within the sector.
