The GJEPC Regional Office in Jaipur recently organised a seminar in collaboration with the Sitapura Gems and Jewellery Industry Association. The event aimed to provide valuable insights on exporting jewellery through e-commerce platforms, specifically targeting units in the Special Economic Zones (SEZ) and Export Promotion Industrial Park (EPIP) Zone.
The seminar featured representatives from eBay who enlightened attendees about the vast opportunities available globally through e-commerce. They highlighted the potential benefits for members of the GJEPC and shed light on the process involved in tapping into these opportunities. Participants received comprehensive information about the current policies, compliances, and the Council’s efforts to streamline the e-commerce route for jewellery exports.
