Of this collaboration, GCDC consultant, Brian Hill, consultant to the says “It is the first time we have engaged in this kind of direct collaboration with a coloured diamond specialist; it’s very exciting.”

Yves Frey adds: “It has been a privilege to work with Brian and the Goldsmiths Craft & Design Council to create this Award. The recent GC&DC ‘Uniquely UK’ exhibition at International Jewellery London was proof of the extraordinary talents in the UK jewellery world.”

Designers from all over the UK have already contacted Yves Frey about this design brief and want to view the selected diamond.
