Fellows’ next Fine Jewellery auction will see the sale of a rare Art Deco bracelet by esteemed jewellery designer and silversmith Hennell.
Hennell was founded by David Hennell nearly 300 years ago in 1736, supplying silverware to royals.
It branched out into jewellery in the late 19th century and established itself as a high-end jeweller in the 1920s and 1930s.
The bracelet in question will feature as lot 391 in the upcoming auction on Thursday 17 September.
It also marks the first time Fellows has officially sold a piece of Hennell jewellery.
Alex Duffy, jewellery specialist at Fellows Auctioneers, said: “With its stylish geometric form, this fabulous bracelet typifies Art Deco design and with an impressive
estimated total of 17-18cts of diamond adorning the piece, it truly is a showstopper.
“Hennell jewellery is elusive and a rare occurrence at auction, so we are delighted to be able to feature such a stunning example alongside what is set to be another
great Fellows Fine Jewellery sale.”
