The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council has announced that its Design Inspirations seminar will be held on February 9th and 10th 2017, in Mumbai.
An annual event, each year the seminar explores the design trends paradigm and emerging scenarios through the presentations of expert speakers. The audience is also provided with insights on how the broad trends are translated into jewellery designs for the marketplace.
This year, the speakers are: globally renowned jewellery trend forecaster Paola De Luca of The Futurist Ltd; design veteran Shimul Vyas of NID; well-known architect Ashiesh Shah; designer and entrepreneur Biren Vaidya, CEO of The Rose; internationally celebrated jewellery designer Reena Ahluwalia; Revathi Kant, Titan Company Limited; Suchi Pandya, founder of fashion jewellery ecommerce site pipabella.com; and Prerna Agarwal, founder of prerto.com, a luxury fashion jewellery company.
In recent times, the Millennial generation has emerged as one of the most significant consumer segments watched and wooed by all. They are the most important people to understand and cater to, if brands and products are to succeed in the market. And hence, Millennials will also be the focus at Design Inspirations this year.
