De Beers has opened a new flagship store in Hong Kong, featuring a façade inspired by the transformation of a diamond from rough to polished.
The top part is made of textured metal that shines like a natural diamond. The lower section comprises colorful glass panels casting a unique triangular water chestnut pattern.
The interior of the two-story 170 square meter store echoes the Old Bond Street flagship in London, with its curved staircase.
“The new high-end jewelry salon is the first experience space created by De Beers in Hong Kong to showcase high-end jewelry masterpieces,” the company said.
The new store is on Canton Road, an exclusive shopping area in Harbor City, Tsim Sha Tsui.
De Beers follows Van Cleef & Arpels, the French luxury jeweler and Piaget, the Swiss luxury watch and jewelry brand, which have both opened flagship stores on Canton Road in recent months.
