A breathtaking 53.14-carat Fancy Vivid Yellow diamond—hailed as a gem of exceptional color and brilliance—is poised to be the star attraction at Phillips’ Geneva Jewels Auction: IV this May. Internally flawless and set in a pendant alongside a white diamond, this radiant yellow marvel carries an estimated price tag of $2.4 million to $3.5 million (CHF 2.15 million to CHF 3.1 million).
Described as “a true masterpiece,” the diamond leads a standout lineup that reflects surging global demand for rare colored gemstones. “Following the outstanding results achieved for colored gemstones in 2024, we are particularly excited to present a superb selection this season,” said Benoît Repellin, Phillips’ worldwide head of jewelry.
Among other showstoppers in the upcoming sale is a remarkable pair of Type IIa, D-color, internally flawless diamonds, weighing 10.92 and 10.58 carats. This pristine duo is estimated at $1.4 million to $1.8 million (CHF 1.25 million to CHF 1.6 million).
