Astra strengthens position in bridal market with dedicated collection launch

Astra Jewellery launched a dedicated wedding collection at International Jewellery London, which strengthens its position in the bridal gifting market.

The New Zealand business, which scooped the Emerging Jewellery Brand of the Year accolade at Professional Jeweller awards on Monday night, has created a collection of colourful bridal designs.

The new ‘Wedding’ range offers customers an easy way to personalise a piece of jewellery for themselves or members of the bridal party, with a wide selection of coloured CZ pieces to complement a wedding’s theme or colour scheme.

The aim of the range is for retailers to help brides create their dream wedding. The coloured CZ pieces come in a variety of shapes, sizes and surrounds, with 12 popular wedding colours to choose from. The symbols within the designs are bridal themed and every piece comes with a gift card, which brides can use to write a special message to the recipient.

The award-winning brand’s creative director, James Hu, shares: “Astra has proven itself to be an ideal gifting product to mark key moments in a woman’s life. Our new Wedding collection is a perfect gift for bridesmaids and flower girls in particular because it works easily within any wedding theme and helps tell the story of the day, as well as leaving the recipient with a beautiful, meaningful piece of jewellery that can be worn for years after the wedding to remember that special day.”

The Wedding package on offer to stockists is flexible, allowing retailers to tailor the collection by adding pieces and charms from Astra’s other styles to build the perfect wedding package for their store.

Astra jewellery is made in a combination of silver and gold plate, with retail prices starting from £60.
