A delegation from The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) recently conducted meetings with jewellers from Doha and Qatar to promote the forthcoming IIJS Premiere Show and highlight GJEPC’s other international initiatives. The delegation was led by Mansukh Kothari, Co-convener, Exhibitions Sub-Committee (National). GJEP.
During the delegation tour, Road Shows were conducted at Qatar and Doha and meetings were organised with local jewellers and their associations. While the delegation met over 60 jewellers in Doha, the event in Qatar was attended by more than 40 jewellers.
Both meetings were addressed by Kothari and other GJEPC officials.
At Qatar, Ambassador of India to Qatar HE Mr. P Kumaranwas also present. He highlighted the need to build a strong bilateral trade relationship between India & Qatar and urged both sides towards building areas of cooperation between the two countries.
