Birmingham-based trade show Jewellery & Watch has swapped the traditional catwalk for a new digital showcase initiative.

Dubbed the ‘Atelier Showcase’, the new area at Jewellery & Watch will feature big screen videos to show visitors what’s new, what’s hot right now, what trends are set to dominate AW18/SS19, and most importantly, how this can be used to boost business.

For the showcase, a series of exclusive films based on insights from industry-leading trend forecasters and platforms WGSN, Pinterest, One Click Retail and Coloro, will present insights into a raft of product categories and highlight future colour trends.

The Atelier will be brought to life by a walk-in installation, which will feature store display ideas that are independently curated, using Jewellery & Watch exhibitors’ products to demonstrate the latest trends from WGSN. These interactive sets aim to inspire retailers and designers and help them keep their fingers on the pulse with all things new.

Julie Driscoll, Managing Director at Ascential explains: “This aims to provide our buyers with the latest trend information enabling them to shop confidently and make better business decisions.”

Jewellery & Watch takes place at the NEC Birmingham from February 4-8 2018.
