Swarovski, the iconic Austrian brand renowned for its premium crystal glass creations, is intensifying its focus on India’s burgeoning lab-grown market. The company plans to open up to 10 new stores across the country by 2025, underlining India’s strategic importance.
Describing the nation as a “rocket market,” Nasr Sleiman, Swarovski’s managing director for Southeast Asia, India, and the Middle East, emphasized its immense growth potential. In a conversation with ETRetail, he remarked, “We foresee India evolving rapidly into one of the top markets for our brand in the coming years. It’s a land of opportunities with vast market potential.”
Currently, Swarovski operates 70 exclusive monobrand stores and partners with over 200 multi-brand outlets in India. Globally, the company boasts an extensive network with more than 6,600 points of sale, reflecting its widespread appeal and robust distribution network.
With its renewed focus on India, Swarovski aims to tap into the country’s growing appetite for premium and innovative products, further solidifying its position in one of the world’s most dynamic markets.
