VICENZAORO 2022, WHAT THE EXHIBITORS HAD TO SAY

Alessia Crivelli, Marketing Manager at Crivelli: “Vicenzaoro went well. I noticed a good turnout, buyers were  proactive, even beyond expectations I would say, considering the current moment. The mood was high and  optimistic, even among our jeweller colleagues: we are all aiming for a new start. Back in September, I had  already noticed a significant return of some international visitors, especially from the United States. This year,  except for the Far East, which still has problems related to the pandemic, and the area of Europe  unfortunately affected by the crisis, visitors arrived from all the key countries, from Canada to Colombia. The  difficulties related to the Green Pass and bureaucracy were managed in the best possible way and, as always, the organisation was impeccable thanks to the professionalism of Italian Exhibition Group.”

Alice Alessi, Board Member of Alessi Domenico SpA: “Vicenzaoro is as special as ever, even at this March  edition, and always knows how to amaze. Not only for the way IEG organises it in terms of attendance,  content and events, but also for the business it generates. In fact, we met up once again with all our  customers who travel from all over the world to come to Vicenza and we are happy to have perceived an  enormous willingness to get on and go forward. We were surprised by interesting new contacts among Iranians, Colombians and Europeans, even from an area such as the Balkans which, in the predicament which  we currently find ourselves in, have given us hope, especially from the human point of view. Vicenzaoro has  confirmed its role as an event capable of uniting under the banner of collaboration and cohesion of the entire  sector.”

Gerhard Schreiner, President of Schreiner Jewellery: “We decided to return to Vicenzaoro after an absence  of ten years because we were looking for an important event in Europe after the recent reorganisation of the  jewellery exhibition scene. We brought pieces of extremely high value at a time when people are looking for  alternative investments, the right moment for large diamonds and jewellery with extraordinary stones.  Buyers also came from Egypt and Morocco and we have resumed contact with the Italian market, which is  still very interesting for us. We are already looking ahead to the next edition in September, in preparation for  Christmas. The important buyers will probably focus on new destinations and I believe that Vicenzaoro could  be the right one.”

Paolo Cappiello, Brand Director South Europe at Zenith: “We are thrilled to have taken part in this first  edition of VO’Clock Privé, an event that offered contemporary watch brands a great sense of proximity to  enthusiasts, experts and the media. The reasons for our participation are to be found precisely in the need  to strengthen relations with them, to tell a story and convey a message to a quality audience. Objectives that  were declared from the outset and fully achieved in a three-day event that positively excelled in terms of the  number of speakers with whom we had the pleasure of interacting.”

VICENZAORO 2022, WHAT THE EXHIBITORS HAD TO SAY

Massimo Poliero, President and CEO of Legor S.p.A.: “The 2022 edition of T.Gold offered continuity with the  path along which the gold and jewellery machinery and technology sector has been travelling over the last  two years. Despite attendance difficulties for players from some strategic countries for the sector, there is  widespread awareness of the centrality of technology and process innovation at the service of the industry,  recognised as important levers to compensate for the rising cost of raw materials and to achieve economic  and sustainability objectives. Common efforts that once again found expression in the Jewellery Technology  Forum, a decisive event for sharing best practices and for creating a wealth of knowledge at the disposal of  the sector so that it can become increasingly innovative.”
