Family-run business David Christopher Jewellers has opened the doors to a boutique in the city centre of Gloucester.
The Gloucester store, located at 4 Southgate Street, joins ten other David Christopher boutiques stretching from Chippenham to Bristol and covering much of the south west.
Despite now boasting eleven store, the jeweller still describes itself as an independent, as during the family-run firm’s 30-year history the owners have always made each store have a local feel, and made a conscious effort to be a part of each community it is located in.
To this end, to celebrate its arrival in Gloucester, David Christopher Jewellers is holding four days of exclusive celebrations.
During these four days, the jeweller will be giving away £10,000 worth of prizes over 30 gifts ranging from watches and jewellery to store vouchers.
David Christopher will also be giving customers the chance to win a £2,000 diamond ring if they spend £125 or more during the long launch weekend.
Speaking of opening the new store, director of David Christopher Jewellers, Andrew Warr, who runs the business alongside his brother Mark, told Gloucester Live: “We really felt that Gloucester as a city had an opening for a high quality family jewellers to provide local people and those that visit the city with good value and great products.
“It’s very important to us to keep business local and to also provide a great service.”
Run by the second generation, David Christopher has managed stay true to its traditional heritage, whilst introducing modern touches and brands.
The Gloucester store cater for every taste and budget with hog-end brands such as Rolex and Cartier to fashion-focused companies including Olivia Burton, Swarovski, Clogau and UNOde50.
