Over 500 Exhibitors to Participate in Jaipur Jewellery Show from Dec 21-24, 2018

Over 500 exhibitors are expected to take part in the 15th edition of the Jaipur Jewellery Show (JJS) making it the largest ever, the organisers have said. The show will be held from December 21-24, 2018 at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Center (JECC) in the Pink City. This year the theme of the show is “Reflection of Royalty and Creativity”.

JJS 2018 will be inaugurated by Chief Guest Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Chairman of Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), and Guest of Honour Pramod Kumar Agrawal, Chairman The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC).

The show will accommodate over 800 stalls spread over an area of over 2 lakh square feet and is expected to attract more than 40,000 domestic and overseas visitors, the organising committee said while speaking at the recently held JJS Exhibitors’ Meet in Jaipur.

Chairman of JJS, Vimal Chand Surana said that one of the highlights of the show will be the Jaipur Jewellery Design Festival (JJDF) which is being held for the second time. It will proactively promote the importance of designs in the sector by way of designer umbrellas, artisans at work, wall galleries, installations, talk shows, etc.

Speaking at the meet, Rajiv Jain, Secretary JJS said that the JJS has become a major force in the gem and jewellery landscape of the country, and presents a wide variety of coloured gemstone designer jewellery, attracting visitors from different parts of India as well as countries like Poland, USA, Bangkok, China, among others.

JJS Spokesperson, Ajay Kala said that brand JJS was now extremely well known and the country’s retailers are looking forward to this mega jewellery show.
