NAJ launches new website designed to make members “fit for the future”

The National Association of Jewellers has re-launched its website, which has been designed to make members “fit for the future”.

The new website is crammed full of helpful advice, support, resources and member-only benefits to ensure every NAJ member remains competitive and ahead of its competition. A team of volunteers and approved service providers has pooled their expertise for free within the site, to help the wider jewellery business community, achieve success.

One of the new features within the site is an innovative Better Business Healthcheck – an MOT for your jewellery business. This, coupled with an extensive list of forums allows businesses to benchmark themselves, share best practice, and plan for future growth.

But the NAJ believes the biggest benefit is the front end of the website, which is focused on the needs of the public.

NAJ chief executive, Simon Forrester, explains: “We have designed the website with the jewellery buyer/owner in mind. It showcases beautiful jewellery, has a ‘find a retailer’ and ‘find a registered valuer’ section, and over the coming months we will be expanding the range of support available, coupled with a PR push to ensure every jewellery purchase or valuation is via an NAJ member. Our goal is to put you in front of your customer base.”

Members can submit pictures of their jewellery to feature on the site, and every company gets a page of their own to showcase their business.

The site also contains a search facility for retaiklers to find suppliers.

Looking ahead, Forrester shares: “Over the coming months we will be expanding the site, so look forward to further progress in the months ahead.“
